What we collect
Account data: email address, display name, profile picture, and the date you signed up.
Content you upload: tracks, cover art, descriptions.
Listening data: which tracks you played, for how long, on what kind of device (mobile or web).
Technical data: IP address, browser or app version, crash logs.
What we do not collect
We do not buy or rent data about you from third-party data brokers.
We do not run third-party ad trackers on the site or in the apps.
We do not record audio from your microphone. The only audio we store is what you upload yourself.
How we use it
To operate the service: serving tracks, showing you your library, signing you in.
To improve the product: aggregated stats on what tracks are popular, what is failing to load.
To contact you: confirmation emails, important service notices. We do not send marketing emails.
To enforce our rules: investigating reports of abuse or copyright issues.
Who we share data with
Our infrastructure providers (database, storage, email delivery) under standard data-processing agreements.
Law enforcement, when legally compelled. We will tell you about the request unless legally prohibited.
Nobody else. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
Access: ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: ask us to fix data that is wrong.
Deletion: ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it.
Portability: ask for your data in a machine-readable format.
All requests go to privacy@humsunte.com. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies and storage
We use one or two functional cookies (or equivalent storage) to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. We do not use analytics cookies that track you across other sites.
International transfers
Humsunte is operated from India. If you are outside India, the data you give us will travel here. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers where required (for example, for EU and UK users).
Children
Humsunte is not for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). If we learn we have data from a child below that age, we delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be emailed and announced here at least 14 days ahead.
